IPST Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) – Curriculum
The Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) degrees offered by IPST School are designed to provide you with a strong foundation in computer science and specialized knowledge in areas such as data science, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and web development. The program incorporates both industry and academic case studies to help you apply your studies to real-world problems.
Throughout the program, you will undertake a series of projects to develop technical skills and enhance your problem-solving abilities.
The program is structured into three levels:
- Level 1: This level focuses on computer programming, with a special project on web applications. You will learn how computers function and the mathematics underpinning computer science.
- Level 2: This level deepens your programming skills and understanding of how to develop substantial software projects. You will also begin studying specialized topics such as graphics programming and data science.
- Level 3: At this stage, you will have the opportunity to study specialized modules based on your chosen pathway and apply your knowledge and skills to an individual final project – developing your own software.
